I was once an adult beginner, never a dancer, gymnast or anything suchlike!  I learned the slow, hard way, but guess what, this hub means you don't have to!

The key to getting results is CONSISTENCY.  For best results, you will need to apply different types of stretching to help you stay strong and avoid injury.  These include, active stretches, dynamic stretches, Isometric stretches, PNF stretches, passive stretches and static stretches.  Working through strength on your flexibility will help you progress quicker and healthier. 

These exercises and stretches have been my RELIGION since I started training over 17 years ago and trust me, I learned the hard way.

You may not know this, but when I started, I couldn't even do the splits. I couldn't do a pull up. I certainly couldn't do any contortion.

I have learned how to do these things by repeating the same movements and stretches every week and in some cases every day.

Results in conditioning and flexibility cannot be short-cutted, but also do not need to be complicated, difficult or overwhelming.
